Once the old central business district, the area is now home to galleries, trendy restaurant districts, antique stores, street food zones, and a wide range of famous eateries – Thai, Chinese, Indian and more. A fresh market (open in the morning) is also nearby as is the much Instagrammed Hindu Temple.
GETTING AROUND
Chong Nonsi BTS skytrain station is about a 12-minute walk away and while taxis are plentiful, but we recommend Grab Taxi during rush hour. Should you feel like venturing by boat to the old Bangkok town, Sathorn Pier in 10 mins taxi ride.
